It's that Nudibranch again!
Sorry if anyone's sick of this, but I'm semi-stuck...

I've got the basic colors down and am starting to lay in details, but no shading yet. I'm a bit stuck on the nudibranch's pattern though; I like the one I've picked out, but am not entirely sure what to do with the tentacles...

The tips look fine to me, at least. The rest of the tentacle strikes me as rather plain, but whenever I try to add something (say, a ring in the middle of each one) it looks too busy/not in keeping with the overall pattern.

Hmph.

<3 this gets better and better everytime I see it. :D

As for the tentacles, I personally think it's fine as is :O or perhaps you can add a slight glow to them?

Thanks! Oh so much shading and highlighting to do @-@
Hmm, maybe I'll extend the head shading up the base a bit (so the transition isn't so abrupt) and add some subtle and random patterns... like white warbling or something :) (almost like glowing! ... kinda sorta not really...)

i really love the background so far. you did a great job showing a crowd without it looking too busy. :D

have you tried the tentacles would look like with spots (instead of stripes or rings)?

Yay! I really gotta give dunaerin credit for helping me with background ideas :)

Spots? Hm, maybe small spots, or warbles :) I guess I don't have to make it a highly regular and bold pattern, yis, a subtle pattern will look much better I think! Thankyee!

maybe just fade the blue from the back to the middle of the tentacles? that way you dont have to worry about a pattern
